My Dearest Uncle Chal and Boyz,
I will never forget my wonderful childhood days with all of you and Aunt Lea! I remember all of the Christmases and birthdays…I can still see your house on Marshall Street to this day! I had so many happy times there and they continued at McGuire. I remember all of the warm hugs my Aunt Lea would give me and how beautiful she looked every time that I saw her! I was so envious of her gorgeous auburn hair! I LOVED all the time we were lucky enough to share together! It was never long enough! 🙂
I’m there for you whenever you need me. I feel like my sympathy for your loss is just not enough. I owe you and she so much for all of the love and wonderful memories you’ve given to me! I love you all so dearly!
Jenny

Uncle Chal & Family,
Lea was a special lady and friend. Always made you feel at home. What a memorable visit/trip to England in July/August 1998 along with Paul, Lori, and Brian. Like a bed and breakfast beyond your expectations. We had fun. These are special memories that last a lifetime along with many others.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and our door is always opened.

I will always think of Lea. Lea was a very unselfish and sincere person. When I lost my youngest son in November 2006, when I returned to work, she hugged me daily. Even though she was ill, she was concerned about me, and offered to take me to dinner or a movie. Although we never got together to go, her offer meant a lot to me. When my time comes, I will not only look for my family, but I’ll look for Lea.
God Bless!
Dear Charlie and family:
I have worked with Lea for as long as she has been here at the VA and she is one of the most caring people I know. Even when I knew she was suffering, she always had a smile on her face and always asked me how my family was doing. She just adored my little granddaughter and was always making a big fuss over her when she would come to the office and visit. In turn, my granddaughter (4 years old) always remembered Lea in her nightime prayers. My prayers are for God’s great mercy, grace, peace, comfort and love to surround and envelop you and your family right now and in the coming hours, days and years. May you find comfort in knowing that others care. Caring…….Patti Burgess

I liked Lea the minute I met her. I adored her gentleness and patience and hoped that I could become just like her; calm and reassuring, able to handle anything with the wisdom that comes with love. I feel truly blessed to have known her.
With my deepest sympathy to her family,
Michelle Oha.
Dear Charles and Family,
Sometimes you are fortunate to meet someone who makes you a better person, just by knowing them. Lea was that person. She was the most positive individual in both her personal and professional life. She treated everyone she met with respect and courtesy.
Her family meant everything to her and those wonderful memories of her will carry you through this sad time.
It was a privilege to have known her and worked closely with her at the VA.
I shall miss her.
