Lena Bell King, 72
October 03, 2024
Lena Bell King, 72, of Lancaster died peacefully on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at her home. Born in Pensacola, Florida she was the daughter of the late Ollie and Annie Baker Stallworth. She proudly graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School and later went into the work force. She worked for both Pennsupreme and Calvary Fellowship Homes over the years. Lena was a God-fearing woman and loved the Lord. She had a word for everyone and was a caring woman. Her granddaughters share the wonderful memories of waking up on the weekends they would stay with her to the smell and full spread of breakfast at 3AM. Her family remember her loving heart and her famous collard greens and mac and cheese. Lena would always dress for her Sunday best and enjoyed shopping for her church clothes to do just so. She could be seen riding around town on her scooter, never letting illness or physical injury slow her down. Lena was a true blessing from the Lord, and was a special woman to everyone she crossed paths with in this lifetime.
Surviving are two sons: Mark and Leroy Stallworth, three granddaughters, Lenaya wife of Shamar Brooks, Jazmin Stallworth, Cyana Flores, seven great grandchildren and 8 siblings, Elaine, Beverly, Darlene, Jean Stallworth, Ollie Mae Reed, Thomas Baker, Linda Palmer, and Roy Page Jr. Preceding her in death are four siblings, Ollie Stallworth Jr., Barbara Page, Jimmie Page Sr., and Jackie Stallworth.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a gathering of family and friends at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home, 414 East King Street, Lancaster, on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 3:00-5:00 PM.
