Leroy H. Lehman, 75

Leroy H. Lehman, 75, of Manheim, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

He was the husband of Nancy Adams Lehman, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage this past July 26th. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Daniel and Ada Hossler Lehman.

Leroy had worked for Herr & Sacco, Inc of Manheim, retiring as a supervisor after 35 years.

He was a member of Jerusalem Church in Manheim.

A US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, Leroy served as SP5, serving a tour of duty from 1969 to 1970, where he was a helicopter mechanic and door gunner. He was the recipient of the Army Commendation Medal.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his garden, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a member of the Penn-Elm Area Lions Club.

In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by his children: Missy Oswald fiancée of Tom Skelley of Lititz, and Jim married to Jennifer Lehman of Lititz; his grandchildren: Conner, Sara, Olivia, Evan, Sasha, and Dennis; and by his siblings: Betty Gerlach and John married to Elizabeth Lehman. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jason Oswald, and his siblings Harold, Marlin, Verna, and Millie.

Friends will be received by Leroy’s family at the Jerusalem Church, 1620 Newport Rd., Manheim, PA 17545 on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 10-11AM, with the Memorial Service to follow at 11AM.
