Linda Lou Clay, 67
March 2, 1956 - December 26, 2023
Linda Lou Clay, 67, formerly of Manheim, passed away at her Ephrata home on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. She shared 34 years of marriage with her husband Michael L. “Bama” Clay before his death in 2012.
Born in Lancaster, Linda was the daughter of the late Frederick and Hilda (Micheal) Petri. She graduated from Penn Manor High School, Class of 1974. Linda was raised Catholic, and she previously worshipped at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lancaster.
Linda worked for Tyson Foods in New Holland as a group leader and parts clerk.
She had the absolute biggest heart, was very loving, always took time to listen, and put others before herself. Along with husband Michael, she cheered for the Steelers, Phillies, and the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. She also enjoyed vacations at Ocean City, MD, playing games on her tablet, and the family dogs Jack and Rocky.
Linda is survived by her son Michael L. Clay, Jr. and his fiancée Rebekah Houck of Ephrata, daughter Melissa L. Krall of Myerstown, her grandchildren Cali and Nacole Chapin, and her siblings, Frederick Petri (Josie), Millersville, Karen Peace, Gordonville, Eugene Petri (Melanie), Willow Street, Francis Petri (Rebecca), Smoketown, and Hilda Micheal, New Jersey. In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by her sister Kathy Riffert (Thomas, Sr.), Lancaster.
A viewing will take place from 2:00 to 3:30 pm, followed by the funeral service at 3:30 pm with Rev. Mark J. Thiboldeaux, Sr. officiating, on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will be private.

I miss you so much mom!! You made me feel so welcome into your family! You raised a wonderful man and I will always take care of Michael and love him always and forever! I know he is your wonderful baby boy! We will always work hard to keep your memory going and to honor the amazing person you are! I hope you and Michael sr are together now and finally at peace!!
