I was so sorry to read about Lloyd’s passing today!  I always looked forward to seeing him at events that Hess BBQ was vending at.  We served together on the planning committee for the Keystone Classic BBQ event and I always enjoyed our conversations.  RIP my friend…

Barb, Eric, Kim and family,
We were surprised and saddened to learn of Lloyd’s passing.  We always enjoyed making the cousin connection when we’d see him at an event where he was serving.  He made a great contribution to the community and will be greatly missed.  May you know God’s comfort and care as you recall memories and begin the transitions that lie ahead on your journey.  Ernie and Lois Hess

It is never easy to lose a family member/cousin so unexpectedly.  Just several month ago Lloyd and I took a walk though his shop in Willow Street and shared good memories from the past.  Ike Thomas

Years ago I was on the Rotary Club of Lancaster’s board and helped to hire Lloyd as the catering provider for the club.  What an outstanding job he and his company did.  In addition to the great food and service, Lloyd’s warm personality and smile always made the day better.  I was shocked to hear of Lloyd’s passing and send my deepest condolenses to his family and close friends.

I am so sorry for your loss Barb, of Lloyd. We grew up together across the field playing many times at our house, cops n robbers! Of all things to do, it must have been the boy’s suggestion! The pain for loving him will feel unbearable, but focus on the good time and memories! You will make it! With Love,
