Loeut Bun Kham, 55

Loeut Bun Kham, 55, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2020 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Battambong, Cambodia he was the son of the late Kham Song and Lorn Dy. Loeut was the loving husband of Ly Kham for over 30 years.
Loeut was a sports fan. He enjoyed watching and playing all sports. He also enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman and gatherer. He will be remembered by many for more than 30 years of dedicated service to High Steel Structures LLC, in Lancaster. In his free time, he was also known to pick up and play his guitar for anyone that wanted to listen.
Family was the most important thing in Loeut’s life. He valued family and did everything he could to spend as much time as possible with all of his family members. One of the happiest days of his life was the day he became a grandfather. His grandchildren meant the world to him and he treasured every moment he got to spend with them.
Loeut is survived by his loving wife; his sons, Anthony Kham and Derek Kham; his daughter, Karen Kham-Perez wife of Travis Perez Sr.; his grandchildren, Travis Perez Jr., Amara Perez, Zimayah Perez, Evaa Perez and Delilah Perez as well as his siblings, Yong Kham and Mark (Noy) Kham, husband of Nath. He was preceded in passing his parents and siblings, Phy Kham, Ping Kham, Loun Khan, and Let Kham.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial to take place at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery in the summer.

Loeut was my older cousin through extended family. He was the best, I will miss his hugs and smile he always gave me at the family gathering. He was a great man who loved his family dearly! His wife, children and grandchildren was his pride and joy and that was always demonstrated through his love and joy! We will miss you 😘 dearly but never forgotten and in our hearts forever! My love and prayers to Ming Ly, Anthony, Derek and Karen. Love ❤️ cousin Ton!

My name is Jenni Simmons. I am the Benefits Administrator at High. Every time I would visit plant 2 Loeut would ALWAYS have a smile on his face. He was a very nice man and he will be missed by many. I am so sorry for your loss.

My name is Doug Shiffler. I worked with Loeut the entire 30 years he was employed at High Steel. He was always willing to do whatever was asked of him, and always with a smile. He will be missed.
