Lori A. Ward, a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished member of her community, passed away at the age of 50 after bravely battling cancer.
Lori was born in Lancaster, PA, and was the daughter of Jean and the late Lawrence Hambleton. She shared nearly 24 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Patrick Ward. Lori was known for her selflessness and unwavering dedication to her family.
Lori was a graduate of Millersville University and a dedicated member of New Danville Mennonite Church. Her faith was a guiding force in her life, providing her with strength and comfort during difficult times.
Lori was an active member of her church community and enjoyed spending time at the gym, where she stayed physically fit and healthy. She had a passion for reading, often immersing herself in books to relax and unwind. Additionally, Lori found joy in outdoor activities such as going to the beach in Ocean City, MD, biking, and hiking.
Lori worked as a Compliance Specialist for Fulton Bank for over 23 years, demonstrating her dedication and expertise in her field.
Lori is survived by her loving husband, Patrick, and their sons, Liam and Joseph Ward. She also leaves behind her mother, Jean, as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Lori’s family was her greatest treasure, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
A Celebration of Lori’s Life will be held at 3PM on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at New Danville Mennonite Church, 103 Marticville Road, Lancaster, PA 17603. Family and friends can gather between 2PM and the time of service to honor and remember her. We encourage you to dress casually and wear something blue, which was her favorite color.
