Louise P. Frank, 96
October 16, 2015
Louise P. Frank, 96, formerly of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully in Palm City, FL on October 16, 2015.
Louise, also affectionately known as “LuLu,” “Dukie,” or “Weezie,” expressed her love of the Amish, Pennsylvania Dutch countryside through her painting. Her landscapes have found homes throughout the United States and abroad. She generously shared her God-given talent through teaching art and judging regional juried art shows. After moving to FL, Louise captured the beauty of the tropics in her landscapes.
A graduate of the Washington School of Art, Louise also studied at Millersville University and Franklin and Marshall College, and later spent time in the Adirondacks honing her talent for painting landscapes. Her favorite artist was Andrew Wyeth and she proudly owned a pencil from John Pike, another favorite.
Louise was born on February 5, 1919 in Allentown, PA, to Albert and Henrietta Goepfert. She was married to William Pierson Frank, who nobly gave his life during WWII. She later married Richard George Frank – the union lasting 51 years, until his passing in October, 1998.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Marlene L. Frank-Schinto, wife of the late John J. Schinto, Jr., of Newport, RI and Palm City, FL; step-granddaughter Stacey Lafer and husband, Jason, of Basking Ridge, NJ; step-grandson John J. Schinto III and wife, Elizabeth, of Greenwich, CT; five great step-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Helm and husband, Ronald, of Lancaster, PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated November 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 558 West Walnut St, Lancaster, PA with Msgr. Youtz officiating. Interment will be at St. Joseph’s New Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lancaster Catholic High School/ Art Department, 650 Juliette Ave, Lancaster, PA 17601 or Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.

Condolences to the Family
December 25, 2015
Marlene, Please accept our sincerely condolences and sympathy on the death of your mom. I am so glad that my wife, Libby, got the opportunity to meet your mom, see her art work and discuss those things that artists dicuss.
We feel special having received one of your mom’s works; which still rests upon a wall in our home. I hope that you are doing well under the circumstances. joe kambic
