Lucy E. Drobnak, 83

September 08, 2024

Lucy E. Drobnak, 83 of Ephrata, died peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at her residence. Born in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Anna Gindlesperger.

Lucy was the loving wife of the late William P. Drobnak. In her early years she enjoyed spending time on her grandparent’s farm, playing/caring for the animals, jumping rope, and making snow angels. Later in life as a Mother Lucy proudly raised her eight children (William, Julie, Greg, John, Janet, Lori, Susie, and Chrissy). Working in the local donut shop along with shopping and brightening up her home with lights. She loved spending time with her family as she shared her passion for cooking/baking. The simple things in life fulfilled her.

She has numerous grandchildren along with great-grandchildren. Proceeding her in death is her son William, grandson’s Jesse and Marshall.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lucy’s graveside service at Stahl Mennonite Church, Soap Hollow Road, Johnstown on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.

Lucy’s love shown brightly for her family the day we met her a few years ago. She was so very proud of her grandson Eric and we were all grateful that she was able to attended his marriage to our daughter Nicole last October.  While our time with Lucy was brief her spirit made a lasting imprint on our souls.  She will be dearly missed and we send love, healing and prayers to her family.  Trish and Dave Talarico
