Dear Hofferth Family,
I remember the first time I met your mom at their house. She was working in her garden… hands and face covered with dirt! There still was that wonderful smile on her face as she greeted me. I am happy to have known both of your parents. Their support of my ministry meant so much! May God grant you all peace.

Sandy, Susan, Fred, Sally & Stephanie,
Sorry to hear this and our sympathy to you and your families. Great memories of Uncle Burt and Aunt Madalyn. They often attended our Heiniger reunions, even with the longest travel. Great memories of their hospitality when stopping thru in ’62 while in the Navy, other visits on our trips east, and last time four years ago to your mom’s home in Brethren Village. She enjoyed her small flower garden outside her window, and I also remember the pleasure she had in tending her garden at your “home on the hill” and her vinyard. Your mom remembered my birthday and our anniversary many times, and always included pictures of you guys or articles of your accomplishments and growing family.
The “Andy and Lena” family circle of their 9 children is once again complete!
Our Love and Prayers, Larry & Bonnie Heiniger

Sandy, Susan, Fred, Sally and Stephanie,
Your mom was always gracious to welcome us. We remember her “green thumb”, sewing abilities, and the wonderful way she had at keeping us all connected.
She shared her pride in each of you.
She will be missed.
Love and prayers,
Art and Suzanne
