Margaret L. “Peggy” Miller, 79

Margaret L. “Peggy” (Martin) Miller, 79, of Mount Joy, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Hospice and Community Care, Essa Flory.

Born in Lancaster, she was the wife of Robert “Bob” Miller, Sr. of Mount Joy, and the daughter of the late William G. and Margaret M. (Dickel) Martin.

Peggy was a vivacious woman with a zest for life who loved to travel, once riding 1300 miles on the back of a motorcycle with her husband to Louisiana.  She had an adventurous spirit, and especially loved her entire family.  Peggy loved playing games and traveling to the mountains.

In addition to her husband of 40 years, she is survived by two daughters:  Terry L. Frazier of Lancaster and Julia A. Kennedy, wife of Scott M., of Lancaster; two sons:  Robert H. Miller, Jr. and Raymond H. Miller, both of Marietta; eight grandchildren:  Stephen, Brandon, Rachel, MacKenzie, Madison, Lauren, Derek, and Darren; three great-grandchildren:  Acelyn, Kai, and Brecken; and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA.  The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home, from 5:30 PM to 7 PM.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
