Marian H. Simes, age 94, formerly of Christiana and longtime resident of Willow Valley Communities, died on Saturday, April 20, 2019. She was the widow of Pierce Vernon Simes, who passed away in 1993.

She is survived by daughter, Patricia S. wife of C. Scott Cargill of Niceville, FL, grandchildren: John C. Cargill and wife Jennifer of Prattville, AL and Amanda L. Cargill of Atlanta, GA, and her great-grandchildren: Rachel, Luke and Margaret. She also leaves behind four nieces and one nephew. Marian was predeceased by her brother, John B. Haubert, Jr.

She requested a private family funeral with The Reverend Craig Wiley officiating. Interment will be in Longeneckers Reformed Mennonite Cemetery.
