Marian M. Graybill, 95

January 10, 2024

Marian M. Graybill, a devoted homemaker, loving wife, and mother, passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 95. Born on July 9, 1928, Marian was the daughter of Ralph and Nettie (Lefever) Meck and the wife of the late James R. Graybill.

A dedicated and caring soul, Marian was known for her role as a good wife and a good mother. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in reading, local travels, and the pursuit of hidden treasures through antiquing.

Marian is survived by her son, David Graybill, of Willow Street; her twin sister, Martha Bushong, residing at Brethren Village; and her brother-in-law, George Duff, husband of Mary, from Calvary Homes. She is also remembered by her grandsons, Jonathan and Matthew Graybill.

Sadly, Marian was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Graybill, sister Ruth Habecker, and half-brother Lester Lefever. Her late husband, James R. Graybill, also left a void in her life.

Services for Marian will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community.

Marian will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with her family.

I would like to extend my prayers and sympathy to Dave and family on the loss of Marian. She was such a kind and soft spoken lady who I always enjoyed talking with at Graybill Brother’s.
