Please accept my sympathy in the passing of your loved one. My name is Martha Jane (weaver) Thiesen and I was named after Martha Jane. Years ago, my mother, Ruth (Gehman) Weaver, was in Martha Jane’s sunday school class and she liked the name so much that she named me Martha Jane,in 1957.
I’m sure that my mother also saw qualities in Martha Jane that she admired, in addition to the name. My God’s grace and mercy surround you in the coming days and weeks as you live life without her. And may the hope that we have in Christ give you peace.
Martha Jane (Weaver) Thiesen, New Holland, PA
Dear Roy and family,
Martha Jane seemed like one of the kindest women in the world to me when I was growing up at Lititz Mennonite Church. Looking at her picture again this morning, I felt a rush of sympathy for all of you in your loss. May the Lord of kindness and love gather her up and comfort you in your grief.
