Martin David “Dave” Shaubach, Jr., 56

Martin David “Dave” Shaubach, Jr., 56, of Lancaster, passed away at home on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Martin “Marty” David Shaubach, Sr. and Barbara E. (Myers) Kreider.

Dave was a 1985 graduate of Lampeter Strasburg High School and attended Willow Street Votech where he studied electrical. He was self-employed as a Commercial Electrician for over 25 years. He was a believer and follower of Christ.

Dave loved working on cars and building motors, especially Chevrolets. He’d also fix car stereos and electronics for friends and was known for being a “tinkerer” and was always building and creating. In his younger years, he enjoyed woodworking and creating copper art pieces. As a child, he was a Falconer alongside his father. He had a great sense of humor and was quite the practical joker.

Dave is survived by his children Ronda Lynn Fisher (husband, James) and Mark David Shaubach (wife, Taylor); his grandchildren Madelyn Fisher and Carson Shaubach; his mother, Barbara Kreider; his stepfather, Frank Kreider; his brother Keith J. Shaubach; his sister, Jeanne E. Allegret; and his cousin, Tammy Stambaugh (husband, Brian). In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Milton and Grace Shaubach.

A Funeral Service will be held at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584 on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. A Viewing will take place from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM and service will take place at 11:00. Committal will take place immediately following at Willow Street United Church of Christ Cemetery on Peach Rd, Willow Street.
