Dear Jamie, Kerrie & Bruce,
I just returned to Lancaster from being out of town on business and as I read the past weeks newspapers I was saddened to see the announcement of your Mother’s passing. I want to extend my sympathy to each of your and your families and also say that as I reflect back on my years growing up at St. Leo’s both your Mother and Father’s kindness to me and the Boyer family are treasured memories. Both were very special people that influenced me as I formed my idea of what it meant to be “a good person” that was considerate of others and was always involved to make a difference.
May you be encouraged with your own warm memories and be moved to carry on their legacies.
John Boyer, Jr.

Pleas know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. After Mother & Daddy died she called me a couple times a year to see how we were doing and let me know how she was. I talked to her just after Thanksgiving when she called to see how my husband is doing and to tell me why I wouldn’t be getting a Christmas card from her. She was always a very special person to us and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Love, Karen & Bill Holtzworth
