I was so saddened this morning to learn of Betsy’s passing, but I have had a smile on my face every time an old memory surfaces of the many wonderful times I spent with Betsy and the gang. The Davises’ home on Lincoln Avenue was always a hub of activity, and Betsy’s car, Betty the Bomb (I believe that was what Betsy named her) provided us with the freedom to expand our territory! We were so fortunate to grow up when we did. My deepest sympathy to all of Betsy’s extended family. I will remember her always. – Carol Burley Hollenbach
