Mary L. Hill, 86, of Herb Road, Temple, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Berkshire Center, Exeter, PA.
Bon in Oley, PA, she was the wife of the late David W. Hill who died on November 29, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Carl G. and Loretta A. Harter Essig.
Mary was a member of Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church, Laureldale, PA, and worked well into her 80’s at the Bo Jangles Restaurant. Her work ethic was part of her upbringing with eight siblings who worked hard on the family farm in Oley. She was preceded in death by 4 siblings and a daughter, Linda S. Martis who passed away on August 11, 2015. She is survived by her son, Alan W. Hill, husband of Lynn A. Hill, Pennside, PA, seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Bernard and John Essig and two sisters, Particia Einsig and Theresa Seidel.
Private graveside services will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery alongside her husband, David.
