Mary P. Wagner, 94

Mary P. Wagner (Pompignano), 94, of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Neffsville Nursing Home in Lancaster, PA.
Born on January 9, 1930, she was the daughter of first-generation Italian immigrants, Antonio Pompignano and Grazia (Longo) Pompignano. She was one of many siblings and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mary loved playing bingo and the card game of pinochle with her family and friends. She loved cooking her Italian meatballs, stuffed cabbage, fresh veal cutlets, and Holiday meals for her large family.
She always looked forward to visits with her family in Cleveland, Ohio and trips to Disney World with their grandchildren each summer. Most of all, the Love and kindness, she gave to her family was incredible, and was the purpose of her journey through life!
Mary was the loving mother of Anthony W. Kilpatrick Sr, Patricia A. (Tias) Little, James M. Kilpatrick, and Mark A. (Elizabeth) Kilpatrick. As a loving grandmother, Mary also raised her granddaughters, Tosha L. Kilpatrick (Andy Hess) and Tonya P. Kilpatrick.
A cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many loving nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by Edward S (Whitey) Wagner, husband of 32 years, son, Anthony W. Kilpatrick Sr, grandson, Anthony W. Kilpatrick Jr, parents, Antonio and Grazia (Longo) Pompignano, and 7 siblings. Also, preceded in death by Edward F. Kilpatrick Jr., first husband and loving father of her 4 children.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

So very sorry for your lost, Mary was truly a beautiful person inside and out, I’ve always been thankful for the love and kindness she showed me ♥ all the memories of my childhood are fond ones because of grandma Mary and grandpa Whitie ♥ and those will be the ones treasured ♥

aunt mary was such a wonderful woman we had so much fun with her. Me and Bob can remember take her to the casino and her sister Yolanda was waiting for us to come back and I said oh don’t worry I’ll have her home by midnight. Aunt mary was a wonderful wonderful wonderful lady. I do miss her. I just gotta hold onto the memories that I have of her God bless and we’re praying for all of you.
