Dear Susan and family,
Many years ago I lived on Poplar St. and babysat for three of you. I remember your parent as such a handsome and devoted couple. I really missed you after your family moved to Fairview Ave., then I went away to college and lost track of you. I remember reading of your father’s passing and thinking how young he was and now your mother. They were just a great couple and always so nice to me. I’m teaching at St. Anne’s – I’m not able to come to the funeral service but Mary and your Dad will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please remember me to all your family.
Thanks,
Donna M. Kaylor
Carol,
I haven’t seen you for many years, but I saw your Mom at Weis Markets a couple of years ago and wee talked for about 15 minutes. She remembered me, which surprised me, and we talked about you and me when we were in school. I was at
your house many times then. She was really a cool lady. Her next door neighbor was Marianne DeRosa, a very good friend of mine, she really liked your Mother and is sorry for your loss, also.
My sympathy is with you and your family.
Sincerely,
Elaine Atwater (Kopf)
