February 04, 2025

Mary Wilhemina (Dejongh) Dutka, 91, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2025. Born in Kearny, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Maria (Adriaansen) Dejongh. She was married 59 years to her beloved husband Louis E. Dutka prior to his passing in 2016.

Mary was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed volunteering, playing bridge, gardening, travelling and taking pictures. She was a past member of the Lititz Women’s Club.

Mary is survived by her 3 children: Warren Dutka (Jennifer), Gordon Dutka (Donna), and Marylou Stambaugh (Charles); and 4 grandchildren: Amy, Rachel, Allen (Alexis), and Gregory. She was predeceased by her 2 brothers, Tom and Peter.

Mary had a 10-year battle with dementia. Mary’s family wishes to express their gratitude to Brethren Village for their dignified care of her all those years. Mary’s family would also like to thank Highland Presbyterian Church for their continued visits and prayers during her long stay at Brethren Village.

Mary will be laid to rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with her husband.
