Bruce and I were so sorry to learn that Maryann had passed away. She was such a nice, caring person to talk to. We always enjoyed talking to her when we were around her apartment and she was sitting on the porch. Her family was so attentive to her needs, but she always tried to do things for herself too. We missed her when she had to move.
Blessings to her family.

I am sorry I am not able to be there for the service. But I know Maryann would understand. Maryann has been a part of my life for about 30 years. I would take my children to visit Shawn Jr., Nicole and Monica and many times Maryann would be there as well. Her Grandchildren called her Mommaw. My daughter asked Maryann if they could call her Mommaw too. She said they could, and so they did. About 25 years later I was looking for an apartment to rent, and Maryann told me the apartment next to her was empty. I moved in a short time later. I was going through a very difficult time in my life. Maryann didn’t know it, but she helped me through those difficult days. We spent much time sitting on the porch, talking, and enjoying the beauty and peacefulness of living on the farm. I was very sad when she moved. It’s still difficult to comprehend that she is gone. Heaven gained a true Angel when she went home to be with the Lord. I know she is watching over all of us, and that there is no more pain and she is breathing easy with her loved ones that went before her. Maryann, I love ya Lady! You are and will always be missed. The pain we feel when someone leaves our lives is in direct proportion to the joy they bring while a part of our lives.
Will always remember the special days in DC with Grandma Schindler and the memorable days during the summer in Lancaster visiting the family.
So many fond memories with Mary Ann……Gone But NEVER Forgotten………..Cousin Terry D. Schindler Sherman

With heartfelt condolences for the departing of your dear Maryann. Your family are in my thoughts at this sadden time. There is a wonderful promise at Isaiah 25:8 – He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. Rely and lean on this promise. Cherish your many memories of her. With heartfelt condolences.
