Michael J. Dougherty, 51
Michael J. Dougherty, 51, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Marjorie and Joseph Dougherty, and birthmother, Helen Fuscellaro Dougherty
Michael was a 1979 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School. He was a construction worker. He was a very charitable man and helped many people. He was a member of Friends with Bill. Michael was very passionate about watching and playing baseball.
In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by a son, Ian Dougherty of Pennsburg, PA; a daughter, Jessica Makowski, wife of Matthew, of Center Valley, PA; 4 grandchildren; and 9 siblings: Christina M. Mastramatto, wife of David, of Ambler, PA, Theresa M. Horne, wife of Thomas, of Quakertown, PA, Joseph T. Dougherty of Pittsburgh, PA, Timothy J. Dougherty of Lancaster, PA, Patrick Dougherty of York, PA, Joshua B.J. Dougherty of Lancaster, PA, Ana C. Dougherty of Indianapolis, IN, Tara B. Hauber, wife of Bill, of Mountville, PA and Gregory S. Trainor, husband of Kelli, of Indianapolis, IN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 119 South Prince Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 with Father Andre Meluskey as Celebrant. Family and friends will be received from 9-10 AM at church. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Charles F.
