I am so sorry to hear that Mike is no longer with us. I spotted the town of Hazleton on the map when I was plotting a route from GA to NY and recalled that Mike was from there, and did a search with his name. Unfortunately, I found an obituary instead.Mike was my first supervisor at Kelly AFB in Texas after I graduated from Air Traffic Control school in 1970.Although I spent 24 years in the Air Force, Mike was the best! His mentoring and example stayed with me throughout my career.Mike was one of the few controllers that actually met my girlfriend in 1972 at a party, and who later became my wife for over 50 years in 1973.Sadly, my wife passed last year also, so perhaps you can both meet up there in heaven.

Dear Jan,
I will always remember the many times I sat in church next to you and Mike and the cheerful greetings he gave me each Sunday! I will also remember his patience with taking our annual group Pinochele picture at Christmas time!! You have had a long and happy life together and you will have so many treasured memories to warm your heart while it heals from his great loss. Wishing you and your whole family peace of heart.
