Mike A. Duncan, 52

Mike A. Duncan, 52, of Lititz, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on Sunday, January 11, 2015. Born in Lancaster, Mike was the son of Pat A. (Witmer) Duncan and the late Jim E. Duncan. He was the loving husband of Cindy (Fry) Duncan.
Mike had been employed by Johnson & Johnson, Lititz for 33 years as a Manufacturing Production Coordinator. He was a member of the American Legion Post #56 and served as the Commander of the Sons of American Legion since 2001. He also was the Dart Team Captain for the post for over 20 years. He was a member of the Lititz VFW Post #1463 and the Germania Band Club, Manheim. He loved the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tennessee Volunteers football team. Mike enjoyed spending his time playing darts, fishing, and recently began playing golf.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mike is survived by his son, Anthony White of Ephrata; his brother, Tim Duncan, husband of Donna of Lititz; his step-sisters Audrey Unangst and Terry Brenner both of Lancaster; and a nephew, Joshua E. Duncan of Lititz. Mike was also preceded in death by his step-mother Lucy.
A time of gathering will take place on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 3-7PM at the American Legion, 109 N. Broad St., Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mike’s memory to the Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076.

I was so sorry to hear about Mike’s passing. I’m also sorry that I couldn’t make the gathering, but he was in my thoughts and prayers. He will be missed by a lot of friends and relatives. My prayers for you all that you may find peace in the comfort that he is pain free now. Take care.

Dear Cindy and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of Mike. I worked with Mike at JnJ for all the 32 years that I was there, just retiring 2 months ago. I was very much surprised to see of his passing. May you find comfort in our Lord and Savior. God bless you all.

I worked at Johnson and Johnson for 20 years and every time I saw Mike he had a big smile and a friendly word. He was such a nice man and will be sorely missed.

Mike was a Gentleman and a Good Soul. He was one of those people who made sure that the important things got done. If you needed help or guidance he was always there. I will remember his quick wit and big heart. Peace be wth you Cindy and family.
