Millie and I met on our first day at Millersville and became friends immediately. I really enjoyed our time together and was honored to sing at their wedding. Since Don’s death, we continued to connect through long, laughter-filled phone calls, and made plans to get together in person, a plan that never came to fruition when she told me that, because of her illness, she was no longer able to travel to Lancaster County. I still have her last phone message. Millie was a wonderful friend. I loved her, and will always miss her.
