My deepest condolences to the family. I met Miriam 1999 at Sikora outpatient as my counselor . She was the first woman that impacted my life . She had the ability to distinguish my behaviors and confront with empathy to change.She enlightened me to heal through music therapy. She always kept a smile on her face and the ability to be honest about her circumstances no matter what.

I worked with Miriam and I was very blessed to have her as a friend. She was upbeat, had confidence and showed me how to like myself and let bad influences pass. She told me Dont let the buzzards get you down. My regards to her children. Especially to Catina who called me Miss Sue. The world is a tad brighter when Miriam was here.
