Monica M. Walker, 79, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Neffsville Nursing & Rehabilitation following a long illness. Born in Old bridge, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late William and Elise Orzleck Milewski. Monica was the wife of the late Rance E. Walker. Monica was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Monica was a homemaker and was known for her dish she referred to as the “polish surprise”. Although she loved to cook she was also known by her late husband as serving “burnt offerings” which would allow her husband to be a frequent patron of the Lyndon Diner in Manheim. She was a BIG fan of Elvis and was very fond of Christmas. In her later years she loved playing pool.
Surviving are six daughters, Melissa, wife of Brian Gilmartin, NJ, Patricia Walker, NJ, Cynthia Walker Norkus, NJ, Monica Ann wife of Stephen T. Forte, PA, Margaret Walker, PA and Michelle, wife of Joshua Kise, PA. Twelve grandchildren Roger, Andrew,Benjamin, Matt, Julia, Vincent, Dominic, Jackie, Joshua. Three great granddaughters Kenzie, Nora, Harlen and Two great grandsons Walker and Wesley. She is also survived by her siblings, Wilma Rudd, William Milewski Jr, and Ted Milewski and countless nieces and nephews. Preceding her death were grandsons Francis Michael Forte, Edward Rance Forte and Antonio “Tony” Forte, siblings Ralph Milewski, Lois Milewski, Doryce Milewski and a nephew Greg Milewski.
Services for Monica will be private for family and will be officiated by her nephew Pastor Andrew Williammee.
