Nelson “Speedy” Torres, 69

June 24, 2024

Nelson “Speedy” Torres, age 69, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to the late Jose Torres and Ada Rivera-Torres, Speedy was a loving man with a good sense of humor, always funny and full of laughter.

Speedy shared 22 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Consuelo Diaz-Torres, whom he adored and did everything for, always having her in mind.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Consuelo, and his siblings Ada Santiago, Georgina Torres, Ramonita Torres, Ana Torres-Gomez, Iris Torres, and Wilfredo Torres. Speedy was also a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews, all of whom loved him dearly and will cherish his memory.

Speedy’s memory will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends. His spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
