My parents were very good friends with Nancy and Newt. I was often in their company with them. I remember so well visiting their beautiful home in Rawlinsville. Sadly, we lost touch over recent years. I remember a beautiful kind Nancy and Newt, a gentleman with a great sense of humor. They are together again. Rest in Peace good souls.

I cut Newts hair for many years, every 2 weeks on Fridays morning’s, he was a regular of mine, he made friends with the elderly ladies at my shop n had his German Shepherds in the car while getting his own grooming done! Newt was always a happy camper around people, when we had garage sales together he was a real salesman, showing his items to customers, talking to them and of course selling at a bargain price! He was a favorite of mine, forever in a good smiling mood! A delightful person to be around! I’m glad we kept in touch after my retirement! So happy to go to his house and trim his hair and have a nice chat many times! Will miss him for sure!
