Park Eugene Walton, 65

April 16, 2025

Park Eugene Walton, 65, of Lancaster, passed away on April 16, 2025, after a long and courageous battle against his illness. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Martin and Theresa (Abbott) Walton. He was married 8 years to his beloved wife, Jackie L. (Shaffer) Walton.

Park attended J.P. McCaskey High School and worked as a mechanic. Most recently, he worked for Lancaster Fleet. Park had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially in Potter County. He also spent time restoring and working on cars. Park was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, collected $2 bills, and loved a good home-cooked meal. He was a kind and genuine man that always put others before himself.

In addition to his wife, Park is survived by 4 children: Kelly Decker, Angela Walton, Terry Baldwin, and Steven Ensor; 3 grandchildren: Mason Decker, Temari Binder, and Jada Binder; and 2 sisters, Deborah Carl (Russell) and Doris Walton. He was predeceased by a sister, Brenda Walton.

A time to gather and celebrate Park’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 9-11 AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A service will begin at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Park’s name to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
