Patricia A. Kleine, 79

Patricia A. Kleine, 79, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Homestead Village. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Grant and Bernie (McEvoy) Dunwoody. Patricia was the beloved wife of Peter E. Kleine, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.
Pat was dedicated to her family and friends, and was always there with a smile to light up the room. Pat enjoyed vacations at the beach with her extended family every summer. Pat was also an avid flounder fisherman during her summers at Indian River Bay. In Lancaster, Pat was a member of the Lancaster Garden Club, and enjoyed having dinners with friends. She was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Pat was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School.
In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by her son, Peter C. Kleine, and her daughter, Tamara A. Kleine, both of Lancaster. Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren, Andrew, Victoria, Patrick and Peter; as well as her sisters, Dru Holicky (Bill) of Utica, NY, and Tina Eldridge (Travis) of Valley Forge, PA.
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on November 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA, 17601, where the family will receive guests from 10:00-11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patricia’s memory may be offered to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P O Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.

I’m so sorry to hear about your wiife Pat via Ed Wickenheiser. I feel your pain having experience the same with my wife Connie Passing on June 5 of 2017. I will remember you and your wife Pat at mass this sunday. God bless you and Ed could be a source of help to you, he was to me . Jim Keller

The great picture of Pat brought a smile to our faces…..she was such a wonderful person and a joy to be around….we always looked forward to visiting with Pete and Pat on our visits to Lancaster…such great friends. We will all dearly miss Pat, but so many fond memories will always be with us. Our deepest sympathy to Pete and family.
