You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with a very difficult time. You all have such a special place in my heart when I think of the great neighborhood we were fortunate to grow up in. I can still hear your momma’s voice belting out”Cinday!!” as the barrage of parents called their kids in for supper!! And no, that is not a misspeliing of your name Cindy. That is how I remember “the call”. To you Cindy, Barb, Shirley, and your dear dad and your entire family, I send love. Sue Berkheimer from the “hood on Lehigh.”

Mamma…..the angels came for you to soon. We thought you were coming home for awhlie so we could offer out love and comfort. So many memories,,,flowery headbands, patent leather shoes, lacy white socks, and crinoline dresses. Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmases…..baking oodles of Christmas cookies. And Brookside….packing the playpen , inner tubes, rafts and lunches whe we were babies, later having us there at 10am for swim team practice, Dad bringing broasted chicken for dinner if we had a swim meet later that day. We tried to stay in bed late on cloudy days because we knew a cloudy day meant cleaning until the sun shone again. I hope you are resting comfortably and basking in the warmth of the sun which you so loved.
~~ your broken-hearted loving daughter, Cynthia ~~

So sorry to hear of Aunt Patsy passing. I recently spoke to Aunt Patsy several weeks ago. We had a very nice conversation and she told me about becoming a great grandmother soon. She was looking forward to that as I could tell from the way she spoke. Life is so short and now her journey is complete as she is with God and her pain and suffering is no more. She is at peace now. Love Mary Ann Pauls
