I have had the honor of working with Pat through therapy and she truly holds a special place in my heart. She was one in a million and made everyone around her adore her through just being her kind, loving, and genuine self. We had many laughs, meaningful and deep conversations, snack and Dunkin Donuts breaks (she loved her coffee and munchkins), pizza parties, and long walks. She was so motivated to do therapy and even though I was there to support her, she was therapeutic and an inspiration to me. I always looked forward to seeing my girl Pat every week. She was truly one my favorite people and I will carry her wisdom and memories with me forever. Even though I want to say “rest easy” Pat, I know she is most likely being her warm vibrant self up in heaven dancing it up and celebrating her life with the saints and Jesus. Love you so much Pat <3 Victoria

As a retired (Royers Flowers) employee, I had the priveledge of working with Pat for the holidays and other St Leo the Great church functions. She was an incredible woman, she knew all of the employees names, most of their life stories and was truely a member of our “Rohrerstown road family”. She put smiles on our faces, joy in our hearts and gave the most incredible hugs. What a remarkable woman and a gift to the world!

I got to know Pat for a couple months (which felt like I knew her a lifetime). I worked with her for therapy and I truly fell in love. We had many many laughs and some tears but she was always dancing and always ready to face whatever challenge I gave her. I’m not supposed to have favorites but it’s hard not to especially when she is truly one of the best people I have ever met. I will miss seeing her for therapy or our heart to heart talks or dancing/singing. The therapy team will miss you Pat and all the joy you brought every day. RIP

I was a parishoner at St. Leo’s for many years prior to moving away from the area and had the priviledge in meeting Mrs. Rodriguez countless times. She was the literal hands and feet of our Lord in so many ways and did so in such an unassuming and humble way for the parish and the community she lived. It is with sadness that I read about her passing from this life, but with great joy that I know for certain she is now in Heaven in the arms of Jesus praising him as she did all 96 years of her earthly ministry. I am sure when she got to the gates of Heaven she was told “Well done my good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your master.” Will never forget the time she spent when my daughter was terminally ill prior to her death from cancer as she comforted me with her soothing voice and gave a tender embrace as she reminded me of how God gives His toughest battles to His strongest soldiers. I will plan on driving up to Lancaster on Friday morning to honor, celebrate, and mourn the loss of one of God’s earthy angels. Our most sincere loss is Heaven’s wonderful gain. Wouldn’t be suprised one day if she attains the label, “Saint”, but has already become a “saint” in Heaven. Her family, friends, and the all the parishoners/faculty/staff of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and School are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
