Patricia Simmons, 78

Patricia Simmons, 78, entered Heaven at her Lancaster, PA home on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. She was born on July 8, 1944, in Harlem, NY, the daughter of the late Rev. Dr. Jasper Simmons and the late First Lady Lorraine (Bennett) Simmons.
A graduate of York College with a Bachelor of Arts. Patricia was an entrepreneur owning Simmons Ink making calligraphy greeting cards for 30 years. She was a child of God in her faith. Patricia loved African art, doing calligraphy, and making cards, and painting. She was a great historian, she loved the color blue, and she dedicated time to helping homeless people.
Surviving Patricia are her son Sean A. Sandford, husband of Sondra of Gettysburg, PA; two grandchildren, Ralik André Sandford of Maryland, and Régene Lorraine Sandford of
Maryland; great-grandson Jovell Roots, her beloved sister Mariann L. Saunders of Kew Gardens, NY, her sister-cousin Mary L. Wallace of Bronx NY. Family, and a host of friends.

The scripture indicated that it is possible to be reunited with your loved one in the near future (John 5:21) So, Sis-Cuz is sleeping until our creator wakes her up.
Services and interment will be private.

Such a kind-Hearted person I had the Pleasure of meeting here in Atlanta, Ga. Pat possesed the type of Spirit, Personality, Smile and Laughter you will remember always.
Such a talented, uplifting individual!!! I am so blessed to have met her and also receive an absolutely beautiful card from her as a birthday gift…A gift that I will forever treasure!!!
