My deepest sympathy to his family. I went to school with Gene for 12 years. His smiling face will be missed at our class reunion. A special blessing to Nancy who seemed to make him smile even more.

Gene and my Dad had a very special friendship that lasted a lifetime. Dad always looked forward to Gene’s visits to Mifflin County. The two of them enjoyed hunting together in the tree stand, coffee and donuts at Bill Kauffman’s, and watching Travis’ career path in baseball. We will all miss Gene’s smiles and laughter. He was truely an amazing man.
Our prayers and sympathy are with Genee, Kelly, and the entire family during this difficult time.

Will remember Pap as a granddad who would travel all over the country and even to Jamaica to be part of his family’s celebrations. Thinking of all of you in your loss. –The Durkotas

Kelly Paul Tyler Mandy and Travis
Pap was a special man – we will always remember his smile at every baseball game we were at. He loved it every time he had to “pay up” – nothing made him happier. His smile was contagious – you have a lifetime of great memories ahead of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
