Obituaries
Randy F Kahl, 64
September 26, 2016
His journey began on August 5th, 1952 in Conestoga, PA to the late Richard P Kahl and Thelma J Kahl.
He began working for Amtrak in July 1976. He married the love of his life, Jody Simmons, on August 3rd, 1979.
He was graced with 3 children, Sandy Robertson, Brett Kahl, husband to Jennifer (Dibble) Kahl, Nicole Kahl, fiancé to Matt Salzman. He was then blessed with 7 grandchildren, Teerney, Hailey, Malayna, Braden, Raegan, Trevor and Trystan.
Randy loved his only remaining sibling Donald J Kahl. He missed his brothers Richard Kahl & Joseph Kahl who preceded him in death.
Besides the love for his family and friends, he loved his dogs, Kaydence & Yeager
Randy encouraged his wife, Jody, to retire early so that they could build their home in Florida…. “To Live the Dream”. He was able to enjoy 6 months of his dream.
He loved breakfast every day at the Conestoga Wagon Restaurant. Everyone knew him and he loved teasing the girls. They made his day.
He was well known by family for: Nose prints on glasses, prickly kisses, constantly rubbing his feet while he sat in his chair wearing his Eagles PJ’s while enjoying “Lazy Sunday”. He would always say “Did you miss me” (even if you were gone for 5 min.), “Pappy loves you”. He kept tags on everything. He was well known for his “Hugs”.
He loved: Music, the Three Stooges, a good party with friends, his skull tattoos, his trucks, deep sea fishing, hot rod cars (those who know him will remember his “Corvette”) , Philadelphia Eagles & Phillies
Randy actually played “The Good Doctor”, Doc Brown, at a murder mystery dinner. He surprised all and played the part so well that he made everyone laugh.
Randy had a passion for the Ocean. From taking his children to Ocean City each year to 3 trips to Jamaica, 16 straight years going to the KEYS. His love for the Ocean and Florida is what made him want to “Live the Dream”
Randy went home to the Lord on September 26th, 2016. Randy will always be loved and missed.
