Raymond (Ray) G. Pletcher, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at his home, on June 2, 2023, at the age of 66. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Charles W. Pletcher and Ruth (Dusch) Pletcher. He was the husband of the late Deborah Lee (McCauley) Pletcher.
Ray was an automotive mechanic for most of his career and a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. In his free time, he enjoyed playing ball with his dog Bentley, fishing with his son, and going to concerts with his son-in-law. He was also a lifetime fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed watching the Steelers vs. Eagles with his wife.
He is survived by his three children: Heidi Biddison wife of Keith of Landisville, Ed Grove husband of Heather of Willow Street, Jenn Gaul wife of David of Lancaster. He was a proud grandfather of twelve grandchildren: Victoria, Zachary, David Jr, Laken, Kylie, Chance, Kirstan, Dj, Cade, Damian, Caleb, Isabelle, Gg and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by, his son David Phillips, and his two siblings Charles and Anna Pletcher.
Interment will be held at a later date at Mt. Zion Cemetery with his wife Deborah.

So sorry to the family. Ray was good friend, he lived his family dearly and I know he loved his wife, Deb more than some realized. He is with her now, and I’m sure they are both very Happy to be together again. I will never forget either of them. Love you, Ray!

Ray was a awesome man and dad he was a good person to me I always had a good time with Ray at Lancaster leaf Tobacco Company he was a good boss to if you had a problem he would always listen to you he would do anything for you Peggy Opple
