Raymond Thomas Pearson, Junior, 89

October 15, 1935 - April 14, 2025

Raymond Thomas Pearson, Junior, 89, of Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, PA passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025. Ray was born in Philadelphia, PA to Raymond T. Pearson and Helen (Carey) Pearson. He graduated from Abington High School in 1954 and Lafayette College in 1958 with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He was also an active member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity at Lafayette and throughout his lifetime. After graduation, Ray served in the US Army from 1958 to 1964. Serving part of that time in Korea.

In 1961, Ray joined his father in business at R.T. Pearson Sales in Abington, PA, where he was a manufacturers sales representative until his retirement in 2019. Ray and his wife Martha (Marty) were married in 1962. They were happily married for 58 years until Martha passed away in 2020.

Ray was an active member of both Concordia Lodge No. 67 F. & A.M. in Jenkintown and LuLu Shriners in Plymouth Meeting for over 60 years. Together, Ray and Marty enjoyed traveling all over the world. They were often found on the golf course at Limekiln Golf Course or Old York Road Country Club. When not golfing, Ray could be found reading anything he could get his hands on.

Ray is survived by his daughter Cynthia (Pearson) Sucro and two grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla Sucro. He is predeceased by his parents, wife, Martha (Mann) Pearson and son, Raymond T. Pearson, III. A memorial service may be held on a later date yet to be decided. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to Shriners Children’s Hospital at shrinerschildrens.org.
