Reba R. Oberlin, 93

Reba R. Oberlin, 93, of United Zion Retirement Community, died on Monday, December 16, 2024. Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Dora Mae Fetter Kline. She was the loving wife of G. Richard “Dick” Oberlin who passed in 2004. A 1949 graduate of Lititz High, she later went on to work as a secretary for Lititz Mutual Insurance for many years. She was a member of the Insurance Women of Lancaster County and served a term as President for the organization. She was a devoted faithful member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lititz, where she was a member of the church council, WELCA, the church choir, acted as a lay minister and Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed traveling to the beach, reading and walking. Although she had many loves, there was nothing she loved more than her family.
Surviving are two children, Karen wife of Michael Healy, Jim husband of Lezlie Oberlin, four grandchildren, Kate, Nathan, Seth and Rylee, as well as five great grandchildren, Max, Aubrey, Finn, Calvin and Lilly.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Reba’s memorial service at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 West Orange Street, Lititz PA 17543 on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:30 AM. Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 AM until the time of service. Interment will be private. Those desiring may send contributions in Reba’s memory to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 West Orange Street, Lititz PA 17543 or to United Zion, Benevolent Fund, 722 Furnace Hills Pike, Lititz PA 17543.

Condolences on the passing of Reba. She was one of those people who exuded warmth, acceptance and friendship. She will be remembered fondly and greatly missed.

I learned of Reba’s passing in church this morning. It hit me real hard. My mother was in the same class at Lititz high school, they were close friends. Prayers go to Karen, Mike & Jim.

So sorry for your loss. I worked with Reba at Lititz Mutual for many years. She was a wonderful, kind woman who was always a great friend. Lots of good memories 💕
