I’m sorry for the loss. I remember him as extremely kind as well as tall & handsome. My parents, Wyn & Henrietta have both passed and I know they valued your friendship. I loved my sweet best friend, Beth Ann and I’m so thankful you lived right next to us in Panama City. I’ve thought a lot about your family over the years with many fond memories. My best to you all.

Dear Bev, Dick was a person I watched on the courts over the years and had not known him like so many, many of his family and friends. However the fight you and your family put up to make his final years and days easy was something to watch. Seeing you both on the bench near your home here at Sailfish holding hands and knowing the huge challenge you dealt with is true love. I know you had an exceedingly difficult times, you were the perfect wife and to the end, Dick knew it. My best to you and the family for a Christmas with wonderful memories of all the great years spent together. All Good To You! christy mihos

Wishing the very best to Beverly and the entire Whittington family. Dick was a treasure and one of the best pilots I have known. Dick gave me my first check ride in the F-101B VooDoo at Dow AFB, Maine in 1960. He and Bev were the greatest. Goodbye, Dick, you are now flying high above us with the best. God’s Speed and may you forever take wing.
Love you guy,

To Dick and his family,
we have been very blessed to know Dick and all of you for the past 27 years, and we celebrate with you a life well lived!!!!
Dick was a hero, we all know that. However, it was our great priveledge to witness the additional heroic acts of a loving and supportive family when one of our heroes was in his own time of great need. All of the Whittingtons are our heroes, and will always be in our prayers.
Love,
Ron and Carlotta Cauley
