Richard Marcickiewicz passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 71 at his home. Richard was born on September 23, 1953, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to Richard Marcickiewicz and Marcella Shields.
Those who knew Richard as a cherished friend will remember him for his love of sports, particularly his unwavering support for Philadelphia teams. He was a true sports enthusiast, finding joy in games and matches of all varieties. Fishing was another of his passions, finding solace and tranquility in the quiet moments spent by the water.
Richard’s kind and giving nature knew no bounds, always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need. His friends held a special place in his heart, treating them as dearly as family. His sincerity radiated through his actions, touching the lives of many with his selflessness and compassion. Richard was always quick with a lesson from a life lived and a joke from a life loved.
Richard is survived by his children: Richard Marcickiewicz (husband of Judy) of Ft. Worth, TX., Genevieve Green (wife of Mauricio) of Chula Vista, CA. and Jonathan Green (husband of Lexie) of San Diego, CA; his 4 grandchildren: Vivienne, Joaquin, Hannah and Layla; his sister Annette Lobely (wife of Edgar) of Lititz and his nephews: Jason and Eddie Lobley.
In addition to his parents Lawrence Pasciolla and Marcella Shields, Richard is preceded in death by his sister Suzanne Marcickiewicz.
Family will receive friends at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. 17543 on November 3, 2024 from 1pm to 3pm with a prayer service to begin at 3pm.
