Rita M. Flick, 92

Rita M. Flick, 92, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019. Born in 1926 to the late Joseph W. and Margaret F. Flick.

Rita attended Lancaster Catholic High School and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1944. She retired from Armstrong World Industries after 42 years of service.

Rita is survived by her nephew, Michael J. Flick and her niece, Kendal A. Hauck. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph A. Flick.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman.

It was my great pleasure to know Rita. She was one of our most favorite and most long term patients at our practice. She was always very kind, considerate and gracious. I will always remember her fondly and feel so very honored to have known her.

I am writing in behalf of my mother Rosemary Aukamp Snyder, ” Rita and I have been friends for so long.” During a bus ride home in 1943, passing Sacred Heart Academy, mom influenced Rita to get off, both enrolled without parents knowledge, graduating in 1944. My mother holds many FUN/FOND memories. With sadness and deep sympathy.

so sorry,worked side by side with Rita for many years at Armstrong, remained best friends forever, went on many trips with her and known as the bobsey twins at Armstrong as always together. Loved her as a sister. May she Rest In Peace.
