February 02, 2025
Robert Allen “Bob” Werner, 75, of Lititz, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on February 2, 2025. Born in York, he was the son of the late Clyde and Mable (Berry) Werner. He was married over 55 years to his beloved wife Alana R. (Breneman) Werner.
Bob was a 1967 graduate of West York High School. He later obtained an associate’s degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University. Bob worked most of his career as an electrical technician for Constellation-Exelon, retiring in 2017. After retirement, Bob enjoyed traveling with his wife and supporting their grandchildren in all of their endeavors. A man of deep faith, he was very active in his church, St. John’s UCC in Red Lion, and served on many committees. Bob was an avid Penn State and Steelers fan, played the guitar in his earlier years, enjoyed a round of golf, and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Bob will be affectionately remembered for his kind, caring, and selfless spirit.
In addition to his wife Alana, Bob is survived by 2 daughters: Kimberly Landis (Jon) and Kelly Amaroso (Gregory); 4 grandchildren: Kelsie Landis (fiancée Winston Mitchell), Zachary Landis (Marissa), Isabella Amaroso, and Mason Amaroso; and 5 siblings: Tom Werner (Mary), David Werner (Susan), Mike Werner (Cathleen), Susan Brumaghim (Mark), and Deborah Gochenour (Reg).
