I grew up with Bob Folk in Washington, D.C. We attended Our Lady Queen of Peace grade school and St. John’s High School. I knew his parents and his aunt Ruth Rausch. I was a year behind him in school but we were in the Boy Scouts together and his dad, Chief Folk was an influence for my entry into the Navy. I had only recently read about the death of his wife and mom and was going to call him when I saw his obituary. God bless him and his family.
