Robert F. Wenger, 77

April 20, 2024

Robert F. Wenger “Bob”, 77, of Quarryville, peacefully passed away on April 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife Debbie and friends who all prayed for a peaceful goodbye. Born to the late John E. and Blanche Wenger in Lancaster, PA, Bob lived a life marked by simplicity, dedication, and love.

For 40 years, Bob worked as a truck driver at Dart Container, a career which he enjoyed and loved. He was known for his quiet demeanor and found enjoyment in relaxing and simple pleasures.

Bob had a fondness for watching TV, particularly NASCAR races. He also loved for travel took him to destinations like Myrtle Beach, Rehoboth beach, and Massanutten Resort in VA.

Bob’s greatest joy, however, came from his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Debra Wenger, who stood by his side through thick and thin. His daughter, Michele Gegg, wife of Michael, and his son, Rob Wenger Jr. His two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Family would like to issue a special thank you to Hospice and Community Care. Their kindness, compassion, and dedication to Bob left a lasting impression on the hearts of the family.

While Bob’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, his memory will be forever cherished by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Crissy Wenger, and granddaughter, Iysis Wenger, whom he held dear.

In accordance with his wishes, no formal service will be held. Instead, those who wish to honor Bob’s memory are invited to make donations to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601
