Robert H. Loreman, 87

Robert H. Loreman, Jr., 87, of Lititz, formerly of Landisville, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Hospice and Community Care. Born in Williamsport, PA, he was the son of the late Robert H. Loreman, Sr., and Bonita (Haag) Loreman.
A proud veteran of the US Army, Robert (Bob) dedicated his life to service and community. He was a devoted member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Prior to his retirement, Bob worked as the Sales Manager for Irving Shoes and concluded his sales career at Essis and Sons.
Bob was active in several clubs and organizations, reflecting his commitment to civic and social engagement. He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus, where he served as Past Grand Knight for two years in Carlisle. He also held the position of President at Park City Mall and was a trustee for four years. Additionally, he was a member of the Columbia and Lancaster Elks Club and the Lancaster Liederkranz.
Bob’s hobbies included golfing, hunting, and coaching his children in various sports as they grew up. He cherished his Friday night dinners with his friends and enjoyed the company of close friends and family. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, creating lasting memories and sharing in their lives.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Patricia “Pat” of Lititz, and his children: Michael (Debra) of Texas, Martin D. (Jane Brown) of Shippensburg, Mary N. Healy (Vincent Parisi) of Florida, Roberta “Bobbie” Calcara (Robert) of Lancaster, and Jennifer A. Weber (James) of Lancaster. He was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren: Matthew Loreman (Charlotte), Andrew Loreman (Laura), Katherine Loreman, Nathan Loreman (Fateisha), Melinda Loreman, Kyle Healy (Melissa), Travis Healy (Jill), Nickolas Calcara, and Allyson Calcara; as well as a great-grandfather to fifteen great-grandchildren, with two on the way, and four great-great-grandchildren, with one on the way. He is also survived by his siblings: Doris McHenry of North Carolina, Richard Loreman (Shawn) of Williamsport, PA, and Bonnie Loreman of Jersey Shore, PA, along with many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his and Pat’s daughter, Patricia Ann Loreman and his first wife Anne N. (Strump) Loreman.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11AM, Friday, June 21, 2024 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601. Family and friends will be received from 10AM to 11AM. Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Leo the Great Catholic Church or Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17604.
Bob’s legacy of service, love for his family, and dedication to his community will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
