Robert J. Clark, 92

Robert J. Clark, 92, of Gap, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
He was the husband of the late Ella F. Whitt Schabach Clark, who passed away in 2014. Born in Spring Garden, and a lifelong resident of the Gap area, he was the son of the late Chester and Hilda Moore Clark.
Robert had worked for ALCOA, Precision Form and Arconic Mill Products from 1954 until his retirement at the age of 62. He also worked on the family farm in Kinzers (Puddintown) which had been in the family for three generations, as well as owning several rental properties in the area.
He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, serving as a Corporal from 1952 to 1954, earning the Combat Infantry Badge and Meritorious Unit Citation.
He was a lifetime member of Leacock Presbyterian Church in Paradise.
Robert is survived by his nephews: Dennis married to Phillis Martin and Richard married to Jill Martin, both of Gordonville; his nieces Chanda Galebach of Penryn and Jessica Roonie of Hagerstown, MD and by his stepchildren: Lisa Maharg, Angie Swartzentruber, and Doug Schabach.
Services will be private. Interment in Leacock Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
