My deepest condolences to all. I worked with Bob back in late 19070’s early 1980’s at Madison Silos. Bob was the best backhoe operator any of us had ever known. He could pick a fly off a man’s nose at 15 feet without any problem. He showed us that it was actually possible to dig a round, doughnut shaped footer with a backhoe. He and I drove all over putting in footers and building silo bases for a couple of years. My last remembrance of him, and possibly his first paint job, was in the company parking lot after work when he spray painted his car using 5 cans of white spray paint. It actually looked quite good and lasted a long time! May your memories of Bob bring you the same happiness it brings me. My prayers are for you. Steve Hagey

Our condolences to your family. We were so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. We’ve known Bob for many years as he painted several rooms for us in both our old and new homes. The last room he did was our daughter’s bedroom last year. She wanted it to look like the sea and he did a beautiful job as always. Bob was always so pleasant and just a genuinely nice man. We will miss seeing him around Dosie Dough as well.
In Sympathy,
Cody and Tara Dombach

To Mrs. Madenspacher & family: You don’t know me, but I send my condolences to you. I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciated the way your husband helped me with painting several rooms in my new home the summer of 2006. I had sold the home I had shared with my late husband, and was preparing my new home to move into it. I only had two months in which to have painting done, new carpeting installed, etc. Mr Madenspacher painted four rooms for me and even recommended a lovely color for the bedroom that turned out to be perfect. He did everything in great time and was just an easy, professional man to work with. I haven’t forgotten how much he helped me out with the timing necessary to make my move a smooth one. I was very grateful to him. And I send my sincere sympathy to you and your whole family. Mary Ann Johnstone
