Robert W. “Bob” Moyer, 76

Robert W. “Bob” Moyer, 76, of Lancaster, formerly of Allentown, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, at his home. His loving wife remained at his side throughout a seven-year struggle with PLS and ALS. Born in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Clarence A. and Althea A. (Ritter) Moyer. He was the loving husband of Sharon L. (Ditterline) Moyer with whom he shared over 53 years of marriage.

Bob proudly served in the US Army in Korea.

He was a member of Grace Church at Willow Valley. Previously, he was a member of CrossPoint Wesleyan Church, Bethlehem, PA, and Grace E.C. Church, Allentown, PA, serving as Financial Secretary and frequently volunteering with various ministries during those years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Pamela L. Lambert wife of Glenn of Hatfield, PA, Rebecca L. Haesecke wife of Matthew of Longview, TX. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Isaac, Cassandra and Caleb Lambert and Leorah, Brayden, and Logan Haesecke; and his sister, Mary Ann Bortz of Alburtis, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Grace Church at Willow Valley, 300 Willow Valley Sq, Lancaster, PA 17702. Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM at the church on Thursday. Interment will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
